Creative Words – and more Creative Words – at Dunoon’s Bookpoint

Creative Words in Cowal says that people who were at the Crime Fiction event at Bookpoint’s first Dunoon Book Festival last year [2014]  will be delighted to hear that Gordon Brown [Ed: not that one], who proved such an interesting speaker then, is coming back to Dunoon to talk about his latest book, Meltdown [Ed: On second thoughts.]

Everyone interested in warmly invited to come to meet Gordon at Bookpoint in Dunoon’s Argyll Street – at 3pm on Saturday 16th May. Signed copies of Meltdown will be available – it sold out at the book launch at Waterstones in Glasgow.

Then, on 20th May, at 6pm and again at Bookpoint in Argyll Street,  Creative Words is promoting the launch of Vagabond Voices.

  • Marion McCready will read from the new poetry Triptych, Our Real Red Selves.
  • Chris Dolan will read from his new novel, Aliyyah.
  • Gerry Loose will read from his poetry collection, Fault Line.
  • Allan Cameron will read from his miscellany, Things Written Randomly In Doubt.
